Theresa Bailey, 66, of Muscatine, died of lung cancer Thursday, July 31, 2008 at her daughter’s home in Muscatine.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Rev. Ralph Jambie will officiated. Burial was in the Letts Cemetery. Casket beareres were be Mike Burns, Gary McCleary, Doug Jones, Rick Fordice, Allan Pameticky and Adam Vogel. Honorary Casket Bearers were be Donnie Bailey, Laramie Garner, Tracy Kincade, Rick Link, Zach Fulton, Yancy Bailey and Ernie Pameticky. Following the services a time of food and fellowship was be held in the Community Hall at Letts. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Theresa’s name. Theresa Marie Ennello was born August 11, 1941, in Ballston Spa, New York, the daughter of Frederick Joseph and Margaret Mary (O’Leary) Ennello. Theresa attended St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Troy, NY and became a pediatric nurse. She then married Alfred L. Bailey on August 11, 1962 in New York. After they moved to Iowa she was a nurse at Muscatine General Hospital and a homemaker all of her life. She always had a loving way and had open arms for loved ones and friends. She was a second mother to all the neighbor kids. Theresa enjoyed her crafts, reading and gambling boats.

Theresa will be dearly missed by her children, Donald David Bailey and wife, Marcene of Sigourney, Maryjane Ruth Bailey of Muscatine, Rebecca Lynn Garner and husband, Laramie of Letts and Theresa Marie Kincade and husband, Tracy of Troup, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren and 2 on the way; 1 brother, Neil Ennello of Ballston Spa, NY; and 1 sister, Barbara Gaspie and husband, Dennis of Mechanicsville.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred Bailey in November 2006; 1 daughter, Sherra Lynn Bailey; 1 son, Frederick Joseph “Joe” Bailey; and a brother, Freddie Ennello.
