Scott Samuel Mullin, 41, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 near Moscow, Iowa.

A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Columbus City Cemetery, Columbus City, Iowa. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty. A memorial fund has been established. Scott was born April 22, 1971 in Washington, Iowa the son of Samuel and Elraine Sue Norenberg Mullin. He was a graduate of Wilton High School in 1989.  In July of 1995, he was united in marriage to Christine Dunkin in Iowa City.

He had worked as a finish carpenter for 20 years; working with Rob McConnell as well as Brad Akers.  He loved life and all it had to offer, he had an open heart for all and a kind soul. He was the best father, enjoyed coaching, gardening and would never meet a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Christine of West Liberty and his two children, Scott and Tina; mother, Sue Wagner of Washington; father, Samuel (Anna) Mullin of Wilton; brother, Brett Mullin of Milan, Illinois; stepbrother, Michael Stines of Cedar Rapids; stepsister, Mandy (Chad) Johnson of Moscow; grandmother, Arlene Norenberg of Washington; numerous cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and step grandparents.
